The Texans fell to No. 20 in the nation in the AFCA poll this week. Tarleton also fell in the D2Football.com poll.

I was more surprised that we were 9th in the regional polls. I thought we would be 7th behind Kingsville. Boy, was I wrong! We HAVE to win out to get a shot at the playoffs. I know they CAN do it! Go Texans!!!
I thought the region rankings were bogus after the Top 5. I would've had 6. TSU, 7. UNO, 8. CMU, 9. TAMK, 10. UCO. I don't see why it does any good to keep TAMK ahead of TSU just because of head to head. They will lose to ACU this week and drop anyway. TSU has seven D2 wins and UNO only has five so I don't understand being ranked so far behind them.
I had it wrong too. TAMK should be #6, TSU #7, UCM #8 and UNO #9.
TSU is 7-2 vs. D2 teams, while TAMK is 6-2. TAMK has a higher SOS, and beat the Texans head to head. They should be ranked ahead of TSU.
