The Texans drove within the UCO five, but the Broncho defense stopped Tarleton on four straight running plays. However, Alex Gibson, UCO's quarterback, was picked off at the UCO eight-yardline by Sheldon Monsegue who picked six. Lindholm added the point after attempt to make it 42-17 Texans.

Listening on the Internet from AggieLand - the Texans are looking good. Luckily, they'll play TAMUK Javalinas in Memorial Stadium. I'm a little nervous about them playing West Texas State and Abilene Christian on the road.

Thank you guys for all your hard work!!! I have a question.. how do they determine how many people were at the game?? At one point I heard the announcer say that people were allowed to sit on the visitors side as well, which led me to believe our side was full. What is the capacity of the home side stands? I could have sworn there were more people there than what is listed in attendance.. just curious! Thank you guys for all the hard work!! Go Texans!

Andra,

Thanks for the compliments.

The home side of the stadium holds around 4,000 people with the visitor side set to hold about 3,000. Overall, capacity at Memorial Stadium is 7,000 for seating areas.

And yes, we were are now allowing an overflow on the west side of the stadium. People have been sitting over there for the a couple of years because we are so full on the east side. We have now designated the north and south ends of the west stands for Tarleton overflow.

Go Texans!
